Functional Family Therapy - Producing Results

Heather was referred to the Partnership's Functional Family Therapy Program by the court for defiance of her mother’s rules and violent fights that resulted in the police frequently being called to their home. Heather's mom was hopeless and threatened to put Heather out of her home. Tensions rose even more when Heather found out she was pregnant. The FFT therapist worked very hard to reduce the level of conflict in the home and gave them skills to help them cope with their emotions. This family is now engaged in each other’s lives. Heather's mom says that this program "gave me back my baby." Learn more about the exciting new program by clicking here.

Elderly & Disabled Victims Program

The Partnership’s Elderly and Disabled Victims Program is fighting a hidden epidemic in Hamilton County – abuse against the elderly and disabled adults. This program, known as VOCA, offers free services to help victims of crime regain their independence and safety. And it’s 100% free. You can be the voice that stops the abuse. Learn more here, and by calling (423) 755-2870 for free and confidential help.

Dancing With the Stars: Chattanooga

Dancing with the Stars Chattanooga was a huge success! Congratulations to Fan Favorite Award winner Lynda Hood for raising over $7,000.00, and congratulations to Alexis Bogo the Dancing Champion Award winner. The Partnership and the DWTSC Planning Committee would like to thank all our sponsors, especially First Tennessee, Chattanooga Times Free Press, and Fred Astaire Dance Studio for making the evening possible. A crowd of 868 guests filled the Tivoli Theatre as emcee Jed Mescon revved up the crowd and created a very memorable night. Thanks to all who attended, all who voted, and all our dancers: Alexis Bogo, Kelly Brexler, Lynda Hood, Josh McManus, Dr. Marc Cromie and Ed Harrison.
