Adoption Services

The Partnership’s Adoption program provides an opportunity for children to have a permanent family through adoption. The agency offers adoptive home studies ordered by the court and provides full adoption services to children and youth in the custody of the State of Tennessee. A social worker/caseworker from the Partnership will conduct a thorough home study to ensure that the environment is safe for the adoptive child. The home study is a requirement by the state of Tennessee for all persons applying to adopt a child or adolescent. A recommendation for placement will be made to the appropriate authorities, by a Partnership social worker/caseworker, where placement resides in the hands of the legal system.

Foster-Adoption
Partnership youth services staff will provide children an opportunity to be placed with a foster adopt parent permanently. These are children that cannot remain with their birth/biological parents. Making a foster adopt placement will provide a safe and loving home as they prepare for legal permanent placement.
