Family Support Services
This program is provided by the Partnership through a contract with the State of Tennessee, serving Families First participants. This program is provided free of charge to Families First participants that have at least one child living in the home. Supportive services are focused on stressors that people face while trying to find employment and gain self-sufficiency. Our program serves 9 counties (Hamilton, Marion, Sequatchie, Bledsoe, Rhea, Meigs, McMinn, Bradley, and Polk). Supportive services are available for the following concerns: mental health issues (stress, depression, anxiety, etc), domestic violence, alcohol or drug problems, learning difficulties and child behavioral or health problems. Our qualified staff works with families to help them achieve their goals, and assist them with becoming self-sufficient. A counselor meets with each family to assess current needs/resources. Intensive case management and brief counseling services are provided, with referrals for more long-term counseling when needed. Family Support Services operates under a strengths-based model and values cultural diversity as we empower people to build better lives.
Hours of Operation Monday - Friday: 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Please call Elizabeth Ford (423) 697-3799 for more information.
