Position: SANE Manager - VSS – 18.75 hours/week

Reports to: RCC Program Manager

Job Summary: Under the general supervision of the Rape Crisis Center Program Manager, the SANE(Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner) Manager will coordinate overall functioning of SANE services in the RCC. This includes office tasks such as invoicing and chart auditing to coordinating nurses to provide 24/7 coverage to victims of rape, sexual assault and domestic violence. The SANE Manager ensures confidential quality care to victims by attending to physical, emotional and educational needs of each client. They will provide immediate forensic examination and other medical screenings to determine if further treatment is  recommended. The SANE Manager will work with the Medical Director for clinical/medical support as necessary.

Education/Experience: A Bachelor’s Degree in nursing with previous supervisory experience. Must be licensed Registered Nurse or higher in State of Tennessee. Has or will complete SANE-A Certification to be obtained within one year of hire. Will complete Intimate Partner Violence Examiner Training (DV Exams) within first month of hire.

Position: Caseworker Aid, VSS – Substitute as Needed

Reports to: Lead House Manager

Job Summary: Under the direction of the Lead House manager, this position  welcomes visitors and clients by greeting them, in person or on  the telephone. The CWA maintains security by following  procedures; documenting and monitoring logbooks; ensuring   anyone entering the building after hours has been cleared to enter.  This person answers the hotline and provides assessment, crisis  counseling,and referral; enters client data into Osnium or Excel  spreadsheets. This position provides support to permanent  building residents and ensures appropriate staff are notified if  an  emergency situations happen. Second and third shift positions  have additional responsibilities to ensure safety of clients and the  environment and basic duties related to client care.    In addition,  they assist the House Manager with duties related to a safe, clean  and healthy environment.

Education/Experience: A high school diploma or G.E.D and a minimum of 2 years’ experience working in social services field or customer service field.   

Additional Requirements: Must be 21 years old or older. Requires minor lifting(45 lbs), stooping, reaching and bending and ability to climb 4-5 flights of stairs. Required skills: non-judgmental listening, clear communication, and observation of building and client needs.   Must be able to work flexible hours.

Salary: Grade 150, $10.67/hour

Position: PRN Supervised Visitation Monitor in Crisis Services/Family Connections

Reports to: Program Manager

Job Summary: PRN (as needed) Supervised Visitation Monitor will monitor visits between children and their non-custodial parent in a safe environment. The PRN Visitation Monitor will also schedule and conduct orientations with both parents, at separate times and with the children. The PRN Visitation Monitor will follow safety security protocols set in place for the protection and safety of all participants.

Education/Experience:  Baccalaureate degree in Human Services field from an accredited college or university in a realted field such as psyschology, sociology, education or other human and behavior courses.

Additional Requirements: One year of satisfactory work experience in a human services field or equivalent experience. Specialized knowledge of domestic violence, post-separation violence and resources available to victims and batterers and knowledge of trauma and the effects of domestic violence on children, preferred.

Salary: Grade 170, $15/hour
