Partnership’s Rape Crisis Center provides care to men, women, children and the LGBTQ+ community 13 years of age and older who have been victimized by violence and abuse. Partnership staff offers confidential quality care at no cost to the survivor. Our trauma informed, specially trained nurses and advocates, help survivors by attending to physical and emotional needs. Specially trained Sexual Assault Nurse Examiners provide forensic exams in a secure, private setting. A private shower and fresh clothing are available.

Sexual Assault Advocates are available to provide crisis counseling, legal advocacy, court advocacy, follow-up case management and resource referrals. All services are confidential and at no cost to the victim. In addition to crisis counseling, a counseling referral is available to provide individual trauma-informed therapy for survivors seeking additional long-term support.

Nurses can provide forensic medical examination and other medical screenings to determine if further treatment is recommended. Evidence collected is stored and protected for prosecution, should the survivor choose to pursue legal justice. Survivors are not required to report to law enforcement as a condition of receiving services. As a part of the forensic medical exam, nurses can offer medications to help prevent sexually transmitted diseases (infections).
