  • Development Manager

    Partnership is seeking to fill the critical role of Development Manager to support the fundraising efforts of the organization through grant writing, stewarding donor relationships, and prospecting for new donors and grant opportunities. This role reports directly to the Chief Development Officer and is eligible for all company standard benefits.


    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree strongly preferred.
    • Associate's degree or equivalent experience required.
    • 2-3 yrs. experience in fundraising, sales, marketing, public relations, or similar preferred.
    • Familiarity with Microsoft Office products is required.
    • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
    • Able to establish, develop, and maintain positive donor and funder relationships.
    • Outstanding customer service skills across all communication mediums.
    • Demonstrated attention to detail and critical thinking skills.
    • Must be capable of managing several concurrent tasks.

    Essential Job Duties:

    • Works with the Chief Development & Communications Officer (CDCO) to source and write grants to fund the programs and initiatives of the organization.
    • Works with the CDCO to plan and execute development strategies that work to cultivate donors.
    • Plans and pursues in person and phone visits with donors in order to cultivate relationships.
    • Assures confidentiality of information related to clients, personnel, donors, and any other information of a confidential nature.
    • Performs development administrative duties including, but not limited to, CRM documentation, reporting, email, and direct mail communication.
    • Performs other duties related to this position as determined necessary.

    Starting Salary: $50,000 per year

  • Elder Care Specialist (20 hrs/wk) - Rural Counties

    Partnership is seeking a compassionate, flexible Care Specialist to join our team! As a Care Specialist, you will play a critical role in the lives of elderly and disabled clients by providing homemaking and supportive services that enhance their personal dignity, independence, and comfort in their own homes. This position is eligible for partial company benefits and will require frequent travel to clients' homes in rural counties surrounding Chattanooga.


    Minimum Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
    • Effective oral and written communications skills.
    • Skilled in housekeeping, budgeting, meal preparation, and personal care of others.
    • Able to attend and participate in relevant meetings and trainings as required.
    • Must be willing to enter clients' homes to provide services.
    • Valid driver's license with good driving record and insured vehicle available.
    • Must be willing to travel frequently to rural counties surrounding Chattanooga.

    Essential Job Duties:

    • Adheres to trauma informed care practice approach and other applicable evidence-based models in service delivery.
    • Provides care for the elderly, young adults, chronic or terminally ill, convalescing, and disabled community to help them improve their personal dignity and quality of life.
    • Monitors behavior and maintains awareness of the client’s emotional and physical needs.
    • Respects the rights and protects the confidentiality of residents and families by adhering to the Agency’s confidentiality policies.
    • Makes appropriate documentation of all tasks completed or assisted with while working with individual clients in alignment with their specific service plan.
    • Teaches skills in economical and nutritional shopping, homemaking tasks, balanced and special diet meals, writing checks, making bank deposits, paying bills, proper care of elderly and adults with disabling conditions and how to access community resources.
    • Performs other duties related to this position as determined necessary.

    Starting Pay: $15.00 per hour

  • Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner - Contract Position

    Job Summary: Under the general supervision of the Nursing Coordinator and the Medical Director, the Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) will perform forensic medical exams on victims of sexual assault. The forensic medical exam involves a detailed history, a physical assessment including a pelvic exam, the collection of evidence, and the administration of prophylactic medications. The SANE must ensure confidential, quality care for victims by attending to physical, emotional, and educational needs of each patient. The SANE may also serve as a witness providing objective observations for cases in the judicial system and may participate in a multidisciplinary team that reviews current cases for ongoing coordination. 


    This is a contract position that requires a minimum of four (4) twelve-hour on-call shifts each month. Scheduling is determined one month in advance. The SANE must adhere to all agency and program policies and procedures to ensure quality care. SANE education and training can be obtained after hire and will be partially reimbursed by the organization. Training may take several months to complete.


    Requirements: Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) or higher with an unencumbered license to practice in the State of Tennessee. Must live within one (1) hour of the organization. Must have or obtain professional liability insurance. The SANE should also have excellent writing skills, oral communication, and the ability to empathize and build rapport with patients and their families; the ability to attend meetings and training sessions; basic computer skills including Microsoft Windows and Word.
