RCYC Extension of Foster Care

WHO WE ARE

RCYC is a family oriented safe space for young adults aging out of foster care so they can develop into productive members of society.

WHAT WE BELIEVE

All people should have the right to live stable, healthy lives. That's why RCYC is committed to supporting youth and young adults in their transition from adolescence to independence.

COMMUNITY STANDARDS

River City Youth Collective is a community of youth and young adults, ages 18-21, committed to becoming the best version of themselves.

What we do

RCYC aims to assist in providing youth with lifelong connections that will empower them to build or create a happy and healthy chosen family of their own. This program eliminates the worry of obtaining reliable and sustainable housing, allowing these young adults to have similar experiences as their peers. Each person is treated as an individual and receives individualized guidance and support by a certified transitional living specialist. RCYC provides a higher level of support, allowing us to support participants with neuro-divergence or mental health disorders or have had encounters with the juvenile justice department many other programs do not accommodate. RCYC provides hope for a better future.
